Milspec Kroma and 18650?

Today I got me a Leef body for SF A2. The body also fits my Milspec Kroma.

But my Kroma doesn´t work with the 18650.. Should it be that way or is it just me....?

A2?...I think you meant U2.

Not sure if the 18650 works with the Kroma or not. Try a tiny spacer on top of the 18650, the spring may not be making contact...just a guess though.:thinking:

You´re right DaFab. I meant U2...

And I tried it with a LOTC and it work fine. No low of course..

It seems that the Kromas original tailcap is not working to well. The difference between high and low white beam is just a few millimeters or even less when I turn it..

Any good ideas on what to do? Beside calling SF...

Well, I certainly would NOT call SF with regards to the 18650 as it could void the warranty.

The tailcap is understandable, if it is not working correctly with the correct 123 cells.

Does the tailcap high/low work correctly with fresh 123's?

The TC does NOT work at all with 18650 and it works not too well with fresh SF CR123 either.. Sometimes just high and sometimes just low..very odd if you ask me..

In that case, I'd call SF to get a new one....just make sure to leave out the 18650 part
