Minimag-compatible MC-E parts?

Just thought I'd chime in. Can't wait for the build thread, looking good. I have a similar project, xp-e going into a 2xAAA minimag with a ledil lisaXP medium optic and a 7c XP-E. Just waiting to borrow a p&s camera to document build.

Question, though: are all minimag heads same diameter? I.E. 2xAA and 2xAAA?

No. I just checked with my two.

Carclo 20mm Frosted Medium optic, part number 10195, in a 2AA Minimag head:

Does the head screw down with that 20mm optic in it?

The standard reflector is only 12mm deep

Yep, it screws down nicely - the 20mm refers to the diameter. It does make it fixed-focus, though.

And that focus is, in your case, medium?

Do you have any beamshots?

Do you have the standard Mag front glass in front of the optic?

So basicly you just mount the MC-E on that heatsink from Japan and then screw down the head with the optic in it? That's all?
