I have hear that a lot of people like this conversion, but I haven't read how does it compare to the Arc LSL
minimag with badboy vs LSL

The LSL is WAY brighter than the badboy...
with the badboys you're more versatile.
you can go for full output, or for longer battery life, depends on what you prefer. (maybe both!)
I dont own a sandwich for the minimag yet, but a badboy 700 schould be brighter than an ARC LS.

I've seen both an Arc LSL-P and a Badboy 400 (Q-binned Luxeon) side by side, and they're about equal in brightness. Your results may vary depending on the quality of the Luxeon LED in each.
