Minor problem with Arc AAA

Replacement foam retainers and o-rings are available free from Arc, just send them a SASE with a note stating what you need.

Alternatively a little tin foil dropped into the body (next to the negative battery contact) may give a tighter fit and solve the problem.

Thanks X-ray. Pretty sure I will go the replacement route rather than sticking any more foreign objects into my light after that last episode.

Whoops! Late to the party...


Mine had the exact same problem. I delt with it for awhile and then I finally sent it back. 8 days later I had a brand new AAA...it's never done this to me. Not even once.
