To build a 14 watt welsh allyn drop in for my D mag tri bored and housing a battery pack rated at 15.6 volts. the switch is an AW soft start.

I'm no ican guy but this seems pretty easy. Pick up a tri-bored D mag from someone in the B/S/T. I know member Jesus Hernandez does them. I think you just pop the stock switch out at replace it with AW's switch and put a bulb in. You may need an aluminum reflector and glass lens. I have no idea how hot that thing gets. Hope that helps.

Hi Norm, yes, those are the parts i already have, what i need is a drop in with a 14w WA HID globe.:thumbsup:

Gotcha now Steve, fairly sure you will only need to use the standard switch with the Welch Allyn HID . Is this what you had in mind?

you need to get the end lathed to the right dimm's so the balast fits?

what the dimm's are exactly i dont know?

any ideas anyone?????
