I saw a post here somewhere about someone changing the LED in their KM, but can't seem to locate it. What would be the best LED for this setup?

I recall seeing a thread like that. I also remember daFabricata also modded his kroma by removing the TIR and installing a reflector in the middle.
The Kroma is a PAIN to take apart, SF used something called along the lines liquid weld that seals the light shut

Why is it that all replies have Surefire in the "Re:" bar but when looking at the actual title, "Surefire" out?

Because I posted a similar but different title and significantly different (yet similar) question, then deleted it almost right away. KuanR caught the original post and hit "reply" right as I deleted it, and when my email notified me of a reply I thought it would be in everybody's best interest to quickly re-post my question to prevent confusion. I left out "Surefire" the second time around and summed up my question is a quick sentence.
