Hi all! I am trying to modify the output to the DX15880 Buck-Boost driver
1. How to modify an SMD resistor
I need to lower the value of some resistors.
I know paralleling them is easy and I have done it but it is impossible to find SMDs lower than 1ohm in Greece.
I have heard, and tried to no success, two methods
a. scratching off material from the Resistor
b. painting over it with a HB hardness pencil
If you have tried it can you help my with any proper application leads?
2. Modifying the output of the DX15880 driver
It is supposed to be buck/boost but there have never been specs on what kind of buck it is (4.2 or 6+V?)
Anyway here is a better pic by Tohuwabohu taken by this post
At the bottom one can see 2 SMD resistors, a 0.047 and a 0.250 Ohm one.
They seem connected in parallel to me.
But the R250 one does not seem to be connected to the ring, thus can it actually be deactivated?
