Modifying Maglite USA

Hi,

I've a Victorinox Traveller-Set (No. 1.87 26) bundled with a flash light (Maglite USA - the body with a marking "Solitaire") using an AAA battery. I wonder what type of LED would be suitable to replace the original bulb?

There really isn't any choices on this one, unless you want to change the battery to one of those 12v little tiny batteries used in the car-alarm remotes with a resistor and solder a LED in place of the light bulb, but - it is not going to last very long

We did a couple of 2AAA MAGLITE conversions, but they were special mods on the normal AA conversion, the light output was uncolimated, and the run time was terrible
