Got a special request to build a Space Needle II inside a Maglite 6D, so here it is next to a regular Space Needle II:

Had to scavenge six D's from one of our boomboxes as I usually don't do lights this size. With these half-used batteries it still registered 6,020 lux. HooBoy.

In a pinch, you can use that monstrosity as a cane.

It's the multi-duty accessory: flashlight, cane, whomping stick.

snuffy, no worries....I just have had a bad habit of burning lots of batteries in a 12ZM...and I figgured I will be burning lots of batteries in new Space Needle, so I figure I need something bright but a little cheaper to run. I hope this is mine....if its not, I will request again.

In the Silver Space needle thread, I made a comment on building a 6D one, and asked if you did special requests. I didn't think you would take those posts as an actual order but when I saw this thread...I thought it was too much of a coincidence and assumed you took the posts as an order.

It is kinda funny.

My special request was because I run at night ~4-5 miles around Mile Square Park and some parts there's minimal light so I need something with max brightness as well as max battery life. In addition, I can use it as a weapon if need be. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/twak.gif
