These are heatsinks for Mag "D" flashlights. The main ring is a copper washer from McMaster-Carr, the center is a copper slug with a 1/8" shoulder turned to fit the washer with a second shoulder "post" to support the LS. The rear shoulder (1/8" ??) is turned to fit a 13/32 brass "hobby tube". The whole assembly (washer, slug and short tube) is soldered (type 430 solder ??). The short brass tube is fitted with a close fitting piece of rod to support it and the assembly is rechucked to square and trim the washer to fit the flashlight and the short post is trimed and faced for the LED.

The HS on the left is drilled on an angle so both wires come into the center of the back well. On the right the holes come straight through to the edge of the brass tube so the wires can be connected to something inside (resistor or puck) or outside (BadBoy etc.) the well.

There is enough room in the rear for a resistor (or not) or puck. Finish off the rear with epoxy to look like a PR base.
