Here is a picture showing the driver. You can see there is a switch that is attached to the driver board. This is what makes it hard to just swap this driver for a standard driver.
Wow that is really clear. Would it be possible to epoxy that switch to the inside of the body then run wires up to a regular driver board?

The driver is actually great. The UI is one of the best out there in my opinion.

I agree that the UI on the Lionhaert is one of the best I've ever used. That microswitch is also much nicer than standard switches.
