MR16 LED's for outdoor lighting?

I have a low voltage outdoor lighting system. Currently use halogen MR16, 30w, with 35 degree spread. I have been looking on eBay, Amazon, etc... for LED MR16's. I would like to stay with 2700-3000K color temp, and possibly go with 45 or even 60 degree beam angle. Toshiba and Philips are anywhere from $17.00 - $22.00 each. I am findiing a bunch of "off-brands" in the area of $4.00 - $6.00. Does anyone have any experience with these? Is it a case of "you get what you pay for"?

Any advice would be appreciated.
