I would like to do a 5* or 6* XM-L setup in a mag host. Need to know if a few things will work, and what parts I need to assemble. I have done several single emitter builds, as well as incan's, etc.
I am wanting to do a 2xC Cell host, running li-ions. Going to go with one of the multiple emitter reflector setups from DX, either the 5* or 6*. Unless someone can convince me it would be better to use optics of some sort. I want good throw, this will be a search light...
I need a driver that will run these in series, preferably two or three modes only, no memory, no strobe...
Any and all help would be appreciated. Need this for work... Would like to get somewhere north of an honest 4000 lumens...
