Hey everybody,
with some of the inventions of the last months, I would like to see something new on the market that should look like this:
2xCR123a (or. 1x18650) size, aluminium body
HAIII finish (black for me)
crenelated beezel
orange peel or hybrid reflector (bright hotspot but enough spill)
SST-50 or XP-G LED
removable tactical grip-ring
selector-ring on the tailcap for output adjustment
multi-mode:
low-mode (2 lm for as long as it can)
medium-mode (80 lm for as long as it can)
high-mode (250 lm for minimum of 2,5 hrs)
strobe (250 lm @ 13 Hz for as long as it can)
maybe: extra turbo mode with 300+ lumens for 30 min
rhombic knurling on the body (grip-surface) and on the selector-ring
forward clicky, allowing momentary on
That would be my "ideal" flashlight. One extra would be the ability to upgrade the LED without the need of buying a complete new flashlight. But that would just be a bonus.
Bye,
Stephan
