My First MOD !!!! :)

Hey guys, I got my first mod to work today...after a very DIFFICULT time monkeying around with a photon II I was able to replace the original led with a 20,800 MCD led (the problem i was having was getting the constant on switch to work....it can be a @#%%# if everything isn't aligned just perfect in the tiny photon) this new led gives it a more clean tight beam for long-distance light travel. the one on the left is the modified photon II the one on the right is an unmodified photon.

Wow, much stronger, focused beam. Is it green, turquoise?

I don't really know much about the LED itself I found it on eBay...the seller lists it as a BlueGreen LED. I don't have a turquoise light so I can't compare it to one.

I've heard about these "dogbone" turqouise led's, but never seen a pic of the beam from one! Not exactly to my liking. But congratulations on your first mod and welcome to the downward spiral of flashlight modifiction
