Enlightened
started out the night with my MagLED 2D, Surefire G2, and Microfire M4.
the guys in my fraternity decided to go mudding tonight, late. well, it started raining and we ended up in a muddy strip pit out in the middle of nowhere. i decided to go across it in my toyota pickup. i got stuck. my friends dodge dakota backs out to me in this "pit" and gets stuck as soon as he stops. so now we've got 2 of our 5 trucks stuck. so, the big Superduty Ford starts to back out to our trucks. he gets stuck. so our 4th truck, the Silverado, tries to pull him out. now is where i start to use my flashlights. its now pouring down rain, we're cold, it sucks. we use my flashlights, in the rain, mud, etc, to get all the tow equipment out and hooked up.
ok, so we realize that the 2 initial trucks aren't going to come out without a winch. we go home, regroup, warm up, dry off. i go to wal-mart and buy water proof boots, shovels, protien bar, etc.
i grab my Mag 4D, Mag 6D, and Mag 3D.
when i get back out there we have about 12 people now. it has been raining for about 3 hours at this point, and if you aren't careful where you step, you'll be up to your knees in mud. to finish off the story, i handed out all of my flashlights to my buddies to hook up tow equipment, dig behind the tires, walk around, etc.
now all of my flashlights are muddy as hell, but i'm glad i finally got to use them, and i'm glad i finally got my truck back. i knew if i wouldn't have had all those flashlights, i'd still be out there right now working on getting our trucks out. we ended up towing a total of 8 trucks because once we got out of the pit, people still got stuck in random places on there way out.
on a side note, i can't wait until my L1P and L2P get here this week.
thanks for reading,
