My humble old school flashlight collection

Hey all,

Loooong time CPF lurker and collector but I rarely post. I grew up in the early-late 2000s and so I have a lot of memories from hearing about the Afghanistan/Iraq wars in that era. I remember seeing surefire and maglites in movies and magazines back in the day. I love incan lights. Ha... good ol times. I have daily use lights but these are my favourits.

I finally 'finished' my collection with the new E1E aquisition! Boy am I happy today Searched high and low for years.

Heres my humble collection:
- Very top is my Mag 7D
- Mid row are my new never opened SF, Maglite, and Pelicans
- bottom row are some old surplus angle lights
- The lionel train keychain reminds me of the one I had as a kid.

I wanted to share the pride and joy of my collection.

Real cool collection.

I used have one of those Pelican L1's, except mine was OD green without the Pelican markings.....maybe a sterile military version?

You're right - and that's a fantastic setup! I need a get myself a daily carry e1e (with an EO-E1R) and e2e! Thank you for the links.

Very cool collection.
Back in the day SureFire couldn't hardly give away the E1, so not a heck of a lot were made.

If you ever stumble across a body from the modern aviator they too can become an E1. An E1 with a two way clip 😱.

Man, I wish I had bought a 9P or similar 3-cell P90 light back when they were still in production (C3, G3, etc)

Being able to run 2AA sized batteries (whether Li-ion or NiMh) with P60 options in one of those lights would be sweet.

Closest I've got is a Solarforce 2 x 18650 light. I've run it at various times with XM-L or P90 depending on the mood.
