I'm cringing again as I'll have to send off my beloved Tag 1500 to get a new battery, a fortunately infrequent occurrence.
But I'm now watchless, and I'm not going to be looking at my #&%*@#! cell phone everytime I want to know what time it is....
So I guess I need a second watch. The Tag was an engagement gift, and honestly, I'm starting to get a little leary of wearing it everyday, for everything, and everywhere, for a variety of reasons.
I was hoping to get another Seiko dive watch, like the one I used to have before it got trashed (not by me...long painful story), but I'm honestly not really up on watches. I know I'd like something not too fancy, with a quartz movement, very durable, and in a style similar to the Tag 1500 or the Seiko black/white/orange knight...which I'd just buy, but I understand they, like the Tag 1500, have been out of production for some time.
I've found another Seiko dive watch, Model SKX175, which seems similar in style to my old blue and red Seiko diver. Any opinions on this particular watch?
Oh, and I'd like to keep the cost down around $250 US or less.
Any suggestions, guys (and gals)?
