I need an EDC recommendation. The primary purpose of the light is to use it around the house (both indoor and outdoor) on various home improvement projects. I was thinking about the Fenix E40, but I know there are many other options out there. I prefer to use AA, AAA, C, or D alkaline batteries, but I am open to other battery options (rechargeable NIMH, CR123, rechargeable lithium ion, etc.) if the recommended flashlight run time is good. I don't need the strobe option. Here are my criteria:
1) How would you prefer to purchase the light?
