need help, i\'m doing my first mod?

i'm trying, first of all to get the correct specs on a LED for a 3D maglite. I also need instructions on how to make the conections with the resistors and everything. please help because I already tried a conection and didn't see that the LED was brighter than the incandescent? pleeeeaaaase.

What's your list of parts and part numbers(if any) on hand thus far?

I just replied to a post of yours in the LED section. If the LED you are using is a 1100mcd white, It will NOT be anywhere as bright as a stock bulb. You would need a LUX I or a LUX III with a HotLips connector.

Assuming you have all the parts already. Take a look at Kevin's Cook Book it contains detail step-by-step directions of how to do what you want.
