I'm building a kit plane, which is called an experimental aircraft, and am curious about using LED's for a landing light. The currently available lights don't seem to match my desired price range or performance so I thought I might ask the experts here for some help or guidance. I thought a few of the SST-90's would work well for a landing light. I'm a beginner to this forum so detailed descriptions of parts needed and diagrams are very helpful. Anyone have any ideas or want to help me with this one.

Also, I assure you Ive researched the legality of LEDs in aircraft and there arent any regulations prohibiting or limiting the use of LEDs in any way. Basically, the brighter, the better. Also, Ive researched this site quite a bit but as most automoitve applications are illegal, I havent found much information about modding an SST-90 to a 13.4v system which is in the aircraft Im building. Again, any help would be appreciated.
