Need help with red LED light / coyote light

I've been doing some research the past few days and this forum has showed up multiple times, so I thought I would see if I could get some help from you guys. Well basically I am in the market for a red LED light that can hold a pretty good beam for 100-200 yards. I would like a light that actually has red LEDs to give optimal light instead of an LED light with a red lens over it. This light would be for the purpose of coyote, fox, hog, etc. night hunting. Light will illuminate the animals' eyes but a white light will quickly scare them off. The red light spectrum is less visible and thus less startling to nocturnal animals like this and allows for a better hunt. I bought a Cyclops CYC-9WS Thor-by-Sirius 9-Watt Rechargeable LED 300 lumen Spotlight the other day and it just was not up to par. Without the lens, it really is very bright and throws the light out pretty far, but when you put the red lens on, it is pitiful. There are a few options that I know would work, but are just waaaay overpriced: The Coyote Light $455, The Kill Light $140, The Coyote TLR $130, and seriously the list can go on and on and you can spend as much as you want. However, I do not think I should spend tons of money on a light just for something I do in my leisure time. What I was wanting to find out from some of you on here is if there is a way that I can "build" my own bright red LED light or "soup up" an affordable light for my purposes? From what I have gathered in research, pretty much all of these lights are the same thing made in China, just with a different brand name and price on them. They all seem to just be using Cree red LEDs, some with convex lenses, and all similar body, but pretty much the same flashlights. So maybe I could get a "no name" brand one and then drop in some red LEDs or amp up the power source. But the bottom line is I really don't know all that much about lights like this, lumens, LEDs, throw, etc. I just know that the light I bought isn't that great with the red lens. I would like something with red LEDs that can light up a field out to maybe 200 yards, maybe that I could twist to adjust how tight the beam is, that I could mount on the rifle if wanted/also be able to hold in my hand, and no need for different modes (flashing, SOS, strobe, etc) just a single on/off or maybe a high/low/medium.

I'm sorry if it's a long read and I hope I'm not asking too much, but maybe you guys could point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance for any help!

Have you checked out

deereelight. I think it call Nightblaster, aspheric lens. XPE red led.

Customlites. Solarforce M3 modded with red xpe2.

With the prices you mentioned get both.

They are on my Xmas list.

I have the red Solarforce M3 head with 3 modes. I don't hunt with it but do shine wildlife with it. Throws good. I notice some PWM on the lowest mode. Customlites is where I bought it.

What light did you use before the m3?
what reaction do you get?
do you sit on your deck and let the critters come to you?
any plans for halloween billowing sheet and a fan?

I am in SC and we can hunt at night. I have been wondering about the red LED lights, too.

I made my own for fox hunting using a Solarforce L2 with red XR-E dropin (single mode) and painted the reflector matte black and installed a cheap aspheric lens from DX. Throws OK and i've hunted foxes with it.

Commercially, the Dereelight Night Master and the larger XSearcher with red dropins will be about the longest throwing.

I made up a red pill for my Solarforce M3 which throws pretty good too.

I think the best red light you could buy would be the OSTS Night Master from OneStopThrowShop.com . It has been modified to throw its beam nearly twice as far as the stock light.
