NEW - FENIX PD32 V2.0 Flashlight

No moonlight and poor tint. Yep sounds like a fenix. :shakehead

Struggle to see the appeal really, especially considering the prices.

Too bad :( Unlike my old PD32UE which has a great tint. I wish they just kept improving on that one.

Don't know that one. Google says XM-L T6, so pretty old. Struggle to believe the tint was really all that good on a T6 bin XM-L.

So good in fact I bought 3 of them. Still using them all.

On this new one, is momentary on always high? If I half-press over and over, will it cycle? I had a light like that once and it was incredibly annoying.

Press and hold tail switch for strobe. So you can't really use momentary-on. Or do they mean press all the way in? I'll need to wait on a video review for this one.

There is a video of operation on german forum.
Switch operation is known from present model in production, but i need to find which one exactly.
If you press fast, you'll have turbo. Slower will give you L-M-H to choose. Pressing all the way down until click will lock in that mode. But as i saw in that video, once locked in chosen mode you can change output by tap.

OK thanks. That's a deal breaker for me. I like momentary mode, but if it's just going to cycle during that it's of no use to me. But without a side switch I guess that's the deal.

It has momentary...

Yes but if I'm using momentary on and off frequently, is it going to change modes every time I hit the switch half way down for momentary. That's what I'm seeing, but still not sure. I'll check out the video on the other forum../.

I only buy lights now that have moonlight, warm or neutral tint, and high cri. If it's outside of those parameters it needs to be a specialist, not a general purpose light.

Thanks that's what I was looking for. It looks like they hit the switch lightly (momentary) twice and it comes on HIGH both times. That's good. If it were to cycle it wouldn't make sense to me. It only cycles modes when fully clicked. At least that's what I'm seeing.

I'm there too, but this one is appealing to me for some reason. It's been forever since I purchased a Fenix. I may just go for it.
