Hello Bilson,

Here is the write up I did on the Hyper Lux V.
Mini Review

In it I listed my unoficial battery test in which I stated
"75 minutes to half brightness
90 minutes close to the same brightness as an L4
205 minutes close to the same brightness as an ARC LSH-P
265 minutes close to the same brightness as an ARC AAA"

This should give you a ball park idea.

I'm really considering getting this instead of an L4. Especially since Surefire is so incredibly backordered, even since Christmas. Since I would be using it for work on a daily basis, I'd need to use the Pilas, but I'm wondering what the real sacrifice in brightness would be compared to an L4.
 
I have also had my eye on these.

The ONLY thing I dont like about these are they are not regulated.
You really might want to think about making regulated versions.

Though, for an unregulated light, they dont seem to be doing too bad on runtime.

I just recieved my HA Hyper-Lux V (#059) with the mineral glass lens and the clickie endcap and I must tell you how impressed I am! I own a couple of other $100+ LED lights (Arc LSHP, LSP, Surefire L1, and P1 with a KL-3) and my Hyper-Lux is equal to any of them in fit, finish and workmanship. Its beam is super, your website's pictures do not do it justice! It would remind me a lot of the beam of my old 8X if the 8X's beam was WHITE-WHITE!! You'll probably pick up a lot of business from LEOs who are tired of replacing X80 LAs at 30 bucks a pop. Plus it fits the 8X holsters like it was made for them. Thanks for a great light!
Just one question... A friend of mine is a diver, and I know he'll be interested in this light with the regular solid endcap.... How do you clean and relube the front o-ring(s) after a dive? Without violating the warrenty, that is.
