Hey all. Trying to think about how we can spark up CPF. Not to say everyone’s new post is not a good one but must admit not a lot of threads excite me. (That’s me, maybe not you). So for the sake of those who might feel like me, maybe someone wants to throw some ideas into the mix. And maybe we will end up with some permanent threads that are so good they are daily picks for reading and replying to.
So you’re probably saying…..well what would Lightman2 want to see. Would take time to come up with stuff but initially thought a ‘beam shots’ thread might be nice. Where flashaholics show shots of flashlights next to each other so we can see how one compares with another. Obviously like for like …..say beam shots showing a Nitecore EDC29 shining next to Fenix PD36R ….maybe for those who have multiple like powered lights doing four lights together. Yeah I realise that it would have to be a close beam shot for that so they don’t all merge but we could also use a target and do each beam shot showing separately as long as the pictures are under the same conditions for each light. Is there any way to start a library??
Or we could all list out the lights we have and others could ask for us to post a beam shot of one next to another. For the most part while there are many things that attract us to any particular light at the end of the day the beam is pretty important. Plus with all the light reviews it is always nice to see one that shows comparisons on beam shots from various lights. I really don’t know right now……just throwing it out there.
