I was really hoping to be able to use my old battery tube(2AA) with my LD10, and retire the other head as a spare, so I could have the brightest head on whatever light I'm using(1aa for EDC, 2AA for camping)
with the other as a backup in my bag.

The tailcaps fit onto either but the heads don't.
so I will have 2 lights with almost identical runtimes, one using 2AA's and one using 1 AA.
anybody know what model they changed the threads on?

Also, anybody know how I can tell if mine has the new optimized circuit or not?

The fit and finish is far superior to my old L2T, the coating is much nicer with a decent texture, the light it puts out is nicer too:)

I'm on the fence about the tailcap, I like that I can put my finger on the button easier, but I don't like how it has issues tailstanding now.

Anybody use a lobsterclaw pocket clip? do you use it on the lanyard/where do you clip it(it doesn't clip to my pocket nicely)
I would love to see a real pocket clip from Fenix.

Whichever comes first, HDS with a single AA light, or Fenix with a pocket clip, that will become my EDC.

Old L2T? As in pre Cree or Rebel? That's your problem. The Lux version had it's own threads. The current L2D/LD20 body interchanges just fine.
