It's a step-up. Not the highest output (150 mA), but the quiescent current is very small... 1.5 uA -- meaning, I suppose, that you could hook it up and let it run even when you're not using it...
Hey, anybody out there help me converting apples to oranges? The ligth output from the typical Nichia white LED is measured using Candela... The LS is measured using Lumens... OK, I'll admit it, I'm confused. So, how do we convert 'tween the two? I want to be able to get a mental comparison going, but while both apples and oranges are fruit... er, Candela and Lumens are...
