New midsize lights?

With the SC600 v2 and the PD35 throwing out mad lumens are there, or does anyone think there will be, new midsize lights like the TK35 that will break 1000 lumens?

Eagletac TX25C2 has 1000 lumens and is 120mm.

Fenix TK35 has 860 lumens and is 164mm.

I mean both the sc600 and TX25C2 are small single cell. Is there a bigger double cell that can maintain 1000 or more lumens without quick stepdown or do you think there will be?

Such lights have been available for quite a while now - Malkoff Wildcat and Hound Dog, Oveready lights, and the Armytek Barracude, to name a few. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what kinds of lights you're describing.
