New Philips Lithium AA/AAA cells

This was not in the US, so converted to $ it was $23 for 4. I saw Energizers in another store for $15 for 4 so they were 50% more expensive :-( So I guess I will keep ordering my batteries from Lighthound.

Wow, $15 can get you approx. 9 Energizer L91 cells here in the US.

But the brochure claims C and D sized also.....

Interesting

As long as it's not an AA Lithium cell inside a D sized canister or a AAA inside a C sized canister. That would suck, like those Energizer D and C cell sized rechargeables.

What country? What store?

If you're referring to this text "Philips offers a complete portfolio consisting of the most frequently used batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, 9V) in different packaging variations in order to meet your needs." it looks to me like a cut and paste from the alkaline AA PDF. There's another typo in the FR6 pdf, where it lists "Battery type: AA / LR6 Alkaline" instead of "AA / FR6 Lithium".

I wouldn't count on seeing consumer oriented C and D size Li-FeS2 cells any time soon. Too dangerous, difficult to manufacture, and expensive.
