New Zebralight Headlamp?

There is an H51 and H51W on IlluminationGear website and states it's coming soon. My search of CPF brings up posts from 2 years ago! Three questions... any idea if it is really in the works, will it have a reflector and what emitter would it have? Oh, and is there a XPG warm emitter, if that is what they use? There is nothing on the Zebralight website. Really looking forward to this so hopefully it wil happen soon.

Not sure but from the output, it looks like it may be using an R5.

the H31 is now listed on ZL site,
therefore an H51 and H61 should logically follow after that?
(the lumen output and LED is speculation on my part as nothing is ever final till it's released)

Thanks, I actually did not see that before. This is good news, I hope it's not long before the H51 comes out. It's been 6 months since I bought a flashlight, and believe it or not the H51 is the only thing I really want bad at this point. Must resist H31...
I'll bet this is a perfect balance of not too much throw with a great deal of flood. Time will tell. I know I'll get it no matter what.
I'm redoing the kitchen for the next month, I would definitely be using it for that. Right now I'm using a little 3 colored Ray-o -Vac with the flip diffuser. It's OK, but having seen my brothers H501 I am stoked on getting an H51.

yeah, it's going to be hard to resist the H31 and wait for the H61
assuming they make it... i could always get the h31 and carry an extra batt...

Think I'll have to grab the SC50w to tide me over for now.

I was going to get the SC50W too, but if the H51 has to same beam and throw then it just makes more sense to get the more versatile of the two. I have already have the now legendary H501, so I am thinking an H51 with the XP-G emitter (big hot spot for close up work) would do nicely.

I think it'd be fantastic if that turned out to be the case; but would that perhaps be unlikely ? I say that though as personal speculation based just on the differences between the Zebralight headlamp beamshots and Zebralight flashlight beamshots in these two links:
