Greetings,

Hoping i can get some advice from the experience and knowledge on this forum.

A little while ago, I came across an auction for a cycle. The seller had installed some customised LED's into the frame itself. A couple of pictures are presented below. I want to do the same thing to my own cycle.

I've searched this forum and cannot find a similar DIY installation. I've also searched online for the parts I might need to achieve a similar result, but I'm not clear on what i need. I've found some prewired LED lights on Ebay, but I'm not sure if i require a driver for them. If so, what type could i use to install discreetly as in this example.

Also, the battery. The seller explained to me that he hid the battery in the seat post for the rear light and in the cycle fork for the front. What kind of battery would be appropriate?

I appreciate any advice. Many thanks.

The rear looks like a piece of plastic cut to shape and blended in with the frame probably with epoxy or body filler then 5mm leds just behind the plastic covering material. The front is more difficult to see; if i were doing this i'd get some smd leds, wire them up then put them in a clear plastic tube and epoxy that to the bar and blend that in.

I would not drill holes in the handle bars just in case you were thinking that ;)
