As I type this, right in front of the PC monitor, is a light that I could finally have the courage to talk about here in CPF (and had caused cosiderable /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/popcorn.gif anxiety since it had to travel from the States to the Philippines);
my NUWAI Q3 is finally here!
Here are my overall amateurish observations:
The PACKAGING (includes Printing,Fit and overall Presentation)-
As is apparent with everything about the light, Nuwai took the semi-minimalist route here. I say "semi-minimalist" route here because instead of a flat platform packaging like in most lights, they made it boxy to look more three-demensional. Instructions and illustrations were clear and straightforward.
The LIGHT ITSELF - Everything about it is SMALL and LIGHT as can be. Machining, fit and finish are OK (HA-III would have definitely been better but at a higher cost I suppose). Like what's been said before, the clip really isn't that tight. I tried to wiggle it laterally to test the screws. Thankfully, it was tight.
The main thing that made me jump up with delight is that I think I'm a winner in the LUX lottery! Don't know that much yet about bins and throw but could definitely say the light it emitted was round with a smooth center and blazing white!
A major letdown was the sheath. Not robust at all. Reminds me of ladies' lipstick case!
It really is overall a "great bang for the buck". I hope you have Happy New Year like me! Thanks for looking.
