Newest Song released, "Bombardier"

Re: Newest Song released,

It made some very pretty patterns with my Windoze Media Player (Battery: Randomization - use no other setting), but that was about it.

Maybe it's because I'm 41, but then again maybe not. It's just more of the same old generic, trancey, housey stuff that's been pumped down our throats for the last ten years or more.

I'm not old fashioned, I love music of all kinds, but this is nothing new by any stretch of the imagination and shows not one iota of originality, IMHO.

Oh well, back to Dark Side Of The Moon.

Nice! I have tried to play around with techno-type software, and it's not easy. I'm impressed.

What did you use to make the song?

Re: Newest Song released,

Listening to your tracks so far, I like Fertilium and Angel's Requiem the best. Bombardier is a little more of "the same", it seems. I guess the biggest thing was that there was the sound that suggested a falling bomb but nothing else that fit in with the whole "Bombardier" concept. Not that it was a bomb, but it definitely wasn't "da bomb."

Keep it up, though... you'll have your ups and downs, and you clearly have a talent for this.

L.E.D., if you have time, go to this site:

http://www.justplainfolks.org/cgi-bin/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=Songwriter+Message+Forum&number=4&DaysPrune=60&LastLogin=

It is a bunch (and I mean BUNCH, like 25,000 members strong) of composers, lyricists, songwriters, etc., that can help you get critiqued to improve your craft (not that there is anything necessarily wrong with what you have now) as well as provide valuable music industry contacts.

In fact speaking of contacts, using JPF I managed to get two of my songs placed on jazz diva Gwen Howard's upcoming debut CD to be released early next year. Actually she just got out of the recording studio laying down tracks and vocals over the past couple of months, and the final mixdown is occurring as we speak! One of the songs, "Bathe Me In Candlelight", was a collaboration between myself (music) and a canadian gal (lyricist) and is to be the Title Track! The other one, "tell Me", was written exclusively by yours truly and if you care to hear an example, you can stream it from here:

Good luck!
