I use 7 to 10 ohms in the 2 stage for Fire~Fly and Aleph when using Nextgens.
15 or 16 ohms is less bright compared to Badboy and sometimes flickers.

I've never had a flicker issue on my NG sammies, only on my NG light-engines.

Ya I got the flicker on the LE for my ALEPH 2 15ohm. I was looking at building Fire Fly with NG. So it does it not flicker with low at 7 to 10 ohm's and flickers the higher the ohm's? I like the run time on the NG's but not the flicker on low.Doc

I have used Nextgens in my Fire~Flys, the flicker depends on Bin of Luxeon, drive current or whatever. Lowering the resistance (like adding another 16ohms resistor to make it 8ohms) has got rid of flickering in my case, and the light is brighter at low.
