can someone tell me where i can buy about 10 nichia white led's? and where i can buy some violet led's also.

Most of your major electronics catalogues should carry Nichia white LED's...they are by now common (in the USA).
As to the violet LED's, have a look at Craig Johnson's Web Site (He runs the LED Museum, and is a moderator on this forum). The LED's are listed in spectral order from infra-red to UV, and include supplier details and catalogue numbers.

He has always given me good prices, fast service, and $1.00 shipping.

Plus his Nichias have always been high rank.

His current batch is much better than the 5600mcd indicated on his web page. I don't know about other folks' buyuing experiences with him, but my transactions could not have been better.

wait, isn't this the same guy that got divorced about six months ago? Everytime I want to order white led's from this guy (www.whitelightled.com), I always miss it by a few days.

As I once posted, I called him once when I hadn't received delivery after about 20 days. He agreed that was too long a wait and sent me a second package with the understanding that I should return whichever package I received second should that occur.

Sure enough, the USPS wound up taking about 30 days to deliver the initial package which I returned to Paul.

Good product and integrity.

I've ordered from Paul 5-6 times and have always received my order within 5 days, with no errors or problems.

As soon as he gets back, I'm ordering again.

I just hope I don't HAVE to have more white LEDs before then. His prices are hard to beat.

Ditto on he is a good fellow; Too bad his LED business is interrupted so often and for so long due to events in his private life. Other than that, he gives good service and communications.
