Nighthunter vs Maxa Beam

I am considering getting one of these. Can anybody out there tell me from experience which one is brighter and will shine further?

You might want to wait until Kenshiro et al has finished his HID light comparison. All the huge light bombs (including the Maxabeam and Nighthunter) will be included showing which light is realy the best.

I don't know when they will be ready to "publish" the results but they are worth waiting for.

Yes they are. But you see.. these are all big lights with fantastically enourmous light output. You need to find a suitable place to test their range.... their spread... their colour.... etc...
