Any thoughts on this camera? I think my 4 year quest for a new camera may be over. It's a little more than I wanted to spend (I was looking to stay around $200, but I can get this for $260 shipped at Crutchfield) and it has everything I want. I'm not a camera guy, so I don't need a DSLR, but I want something that will take nice pictures of my lights and toys.

Did you see this review. :shakehead
Have you considered the Canon S90 IS? I know it's allot more money (about $100), but I think you will be more satisfied with the picture quality.

Re: Nikon CoolPix L110

Thanks for the link. Actually, I don't want the P100, it's the L110 (don't know why I put P100 ). I like the bigger size of the Nikon, I have big hands and there are still too many lights, knives and axes out there that I need. :poke:

Wow, not bad, beats mine by $13.00, but I got a free 4 GB memory card with mine. Now, I just have to buy some new toys to take pictures of. :naughty:
I wound up getting mine from Best Buy. They had a Mother's Day Sale that I just happened to find because I couldn't get anybody to wait on me. I went over to the Apple computer section and grabbed an iPad and went to their website and saw the sale. :p

Big zoom ranges are always a compromise in image quality. On top of that, you'll find the long end of the zoom unusable in anything other than bright direct sunlight.

For your budget, I would recommend the fuji f200.
