NiMh D Cells safe for these applications?

I want to use accuevolution LSD nimh D's in a 3D maglite (newer LED model) and for a rayovac sportsman extreme lantern. Will these cells be good to go in both of these appliances, or will they cause damage?

Thanks for the feedback Any recommendations on a charger for D batteries? I'm thinking about the MAHA MH-C808M (most expensive scenario), but would also like to know if anyone has had positive experiences with a less expensive brand/model?
