Ok I just took my pocket clip off of my NEX to bend the POS clip back so it would retain again. When I did so, the threads stripped out with no over torquing. I have heard of this problem before, right now my temp solution is super glue inside the threads. My question is, should I send the light back to nitecore, or should I find some one who knows what they are doing with a tap and die set, because i don't and I don't wanna screw things up more. Also i am contemplating filling the hole with epoxy and putting the screws back in. Have to say I am very disapointed, I love this light and it has been my EDC for almost a year. :sigh:

You could contact Nite Core. Don't know what they would say. You could drill/tap for slightly larger screws, you could fill the holes with Epoxy and then drill/tap for the orginal screws. Easy does it--either way the aluminum/epoxy is not very strong. I'm unaware of any Heli-Coils for such small screws.
