Nitecore D11, or D11 v2 --Does it matter?

I'm looking for a small light to run on one aa battery. I've narrowed it down to the Nitecore D11. The first D11 model is 45 dollars, the new and improved D11 v.2 is 59 dollars. I realize they fixed a lot of glitches and made a few small improvements. Should I get the new model and pay more? Or, would the old D11 suffice? I'm really not trying to spend a lot on this light as it's an AA, but I need a single AA light.

I'd greatly appreciate some educated feedback.

I just recently got the D11.2 slotted and ordered the tritium vial here in the Marketplace. I do like the shortcuts to the Hi and Low modes with the ver 2.
