Nitecore D4 problem

My D4 stopped working. The screen went blank during a charge. I tried the 12VDC plug a and it lit up. I checked the 120 VAC plug for continuity and its fine. Any suggestions? What do I look at when I open it up?

Have you checked to see so the port on the charger isn't loose or something like that?

There's a picture here of the insides.
I expect its just a dodgy solder joint on the AC socket.
