Nitecore ?

Hi guys, I need a flashlight which should be small as in 4" to 6" which will primarily be used for very close in work but it requires a very intense light so I'm thinking about either a Nitcore EC25 or MH1C. Also, will using the RCR123A batteries be a factor in the output? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks slab288

Without knowing more about your application, I think either light would be bright enough for close-up work. I would also recommend using 1x18650 over 2xRCR123, as this typically results in better run time on most lights that accept both configurations. Nitecore includes a table on each light's page; this table gives outputs and run times for different battery configurations.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking either or but was leaning towards the MH1C mainly because it has more of a "spot" rather than a "spread" of light. The close up work involves "peering" at aluminium castings which are quite intricate and therefore hence it has to be well lite. If there are any other lights you think would be worth considering that would be good. slab288
