NiteIze LED Illuminated Flying Disk Reviewed

I have the red one and the green one. I take them to the drive-in movies all the time. Everytime I pull one of them out, quite a few people ask what they are, where I got it, ect. They are awesome. I play frisbee a lot, and I find that the disc itself is a high quality one. Then with the LED and fiber optics, well it's a grand slam. I expect to see more of these around by next summer. I bought one of mine at The Sports Authority, and the other one online. I noticed they have one that constantly changes color (like an RGB LED?) And to top it off, they are made in USA! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/happy14.gif

Heck. These things are so cool that everytime I see one in the store I want to buy it, but then remember that it's been 15 years since I tossed a frisbee around.

These are cool but I prefer a frisbee of around 130-140 grams instead of the heavier 165-180 gram ones that most LED lit ones seem to be. I may try to mod a glow in the dark frisbee with LEDs, may put in some tiny rechargeable batteries too.

Nice. Guess we'll be getting more reports of UFOs seen whizzing around at nite. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I saw someone playing with a LED rotor-disc at the playground near my house recently. It's the type that spins & flies high up in the air when launched from a handle by a pull-string.
