Is it my imagination, or is the reflector a LOT bigger?
Or is it just a LOT deeper?
That would give it a lot better throw, even with the same bulb and power supply.

Wow 24lbs, Thats alot more than the 10mCp one. Maybe it will come with a cart to pull it around.

So who is going to buy one of these and compare it to the 10MCP Thor??

24 pounds...........I wonder what shipping charges would be!!!!!

That is pretty cool. That light puts itself on the verge of not being very portable though. 24 pounds..... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/duh2.gif

If I could find anywhere in Australia to buy one I would but can't seem to get them yet /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mecry.gif

bigger battery, heavier-thicker pastic, heavier-thicker rubber, heavier-thicker reflector. A large number of things. But, that don't mean it couldn't be a misprint.

I hope it's not a misprint. Yes, admittedly, the 1.5x larger reflector seems to be the only real difference, but where there's life, there's hope.

I went to www.natchezss.com found an item that weighed 24 lb. and had it calculate S&H. It was about $18 from TN to my state of Rhode Island. So about $70 total. I don't have COSTCO's in my area so that's not an option for me.

I signed up to have them notify me when they are in stock. I'll let you guy's know.

I wonder if we can use Newbie's 10 MCP Thor mod in the 15 MCP version???

I'd bet that the only real difference is the reflector! The yellow body looks to be the same as the 10M. Since candlepower is a measure of the light in a focused beam and NOT the output of the bulb, it might be possible to get 15M by using a larger reflector.

Another person getting a 15 MCP Thor!!!!!!!! We need comparisons to the original!!!!!!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif
