Raggie has stated that he has dyslexia. I wonder how long those old batteries will work for him.

Back to the subject, eh?
Joe, if his writing bothers you, just bypass it. Call it poetic license if you must, but discuss lights, not writing styles.

It's just a guess. Since he says it's an older Dorcy LED, I suspect he's talking about Dorcy Cool Blue.

It is probably the Dorcy CoolBlue since it is still on its first set of batteries (it is supposed to run 20+ hours on a set of batteries).

I'll also guess that it's a Dorcy Cool Blue (the plastic and rubber kind), but it could also be a Dorcy Cool Blue (the metal kind). Dorcy gave the same name to two different flashlights... guess some of their marketing geniouses were an egg roll short of a poo poo platter the day these two flashlights first came off the line. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jpshakehead.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Since he threw it into his fish pond, I'd suspect the plastic one. I don't think the aluminum one would be watertight enough.

As far as I know, the plastic and rubber version of the Cool Blue is exactly the same as the Turtlelite except for color and labelling.

LEDCorp and Dorcy have some kind of licensing agreement with one another, so don't call your favorite patent attorney. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

yeah she is plastic and yellow she is the cool blue one great light for price but she is big

yup. Not worth the size IMHO, provided the beam that was not really useful. Ah ya, just be wary as the reflector is soo weak. If you happen to have leakage inside (battery), the reflector will slowly teared apart.

I suggest get an Arc or Ultra. Same brightness with much smaller package

im geting a arc soon as i find one localy i may also get the cmg i think they sell it at sports autrity

if you get CMG, get the Ultra version. Arc + CMG, they will satisfy most of your needs of lighting /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
