OBD II Auto Diagnostic Scanner USB?

Looking for comments & suggestions on a reliable (though I don't want to break the bank!) OBD II ScanAll Auto Diagnostic Scanner with USB connection.

Prefer one that hooks up to say an old Windows laptop (or reasons why or why not this type?).

I thought this had been discussed before, but can't the topic.

I have had good luck with the Actron brand of code scanner/analyzers.

I like the interface and software at www.obd-2.com . Also known as "CarCode".

Not fancy (from a glitz & glamour point of view), but very well done functionally. And it runs on ancient hardware if you need it to.

I like my AutoXray EZ Scan 6000, it is pricey but has all the bells and whistles.
