Hmm, I think it would increase resistance. However, I'm curious; I think I'll e-mail them and ask how the heck they came up with that name. It might not be a coincidence.

mho is the older unit of conductance, the reciprocal of the ohm. It has been mostly replaced by the Siemens (DON'T go there)
