Old E-series twisty switch with a worn boot...

I have one of the old E-Series twisty's that I really like. The rubber boot is worn around the edges from rubbing in my pants pocket. What happens if I rub entirely through the rubber boot? Is there anything I can do to replace it? I'd like to keep using it as a backup to my clickys.

+1 for contacting SF and being specific. They sent me a new light when I sent and old worn out one in, so if you have something collectible that you want to keep make sure to let them know that. SF has always taken care of me.
