Olight AAA Titanium won't turn off

So I was outside playing with the above light and all of a sudden it would not turn off. Took the head off, and as soon as it touches the body, it turns on. Tried twisting it on/off numerous times, cleaned the threads dry, new batteries etc. This is a twisty head flashlight with 3 modes btw.

I did finally get it to turn off by banging it with the plastic end of a screwdriver but this is obviously not acceptable.

I haven't even used it much but I am sure there is no warranty. I also tried unscrewing the pill and can't get it to budge. Since it's pretty delicate I don't want to use too much force.

It was supposed to be my keychain light and at $45 was not cheap by any means. Thoughts?

Do you have proof of purchase?

Yes, yes I do. I bought it from a vendor here and their website had a 30 day warranty so I figured I was out of luck. Good find thanks.

Sounds like the head is contacting the electronics when it shouldn't be. Definitely try contacting the vendor first.

Thanks for all the good replies. I'll pick up an air car today. If that doesn't work, I have an email into the vendor as well as Olight USA.

Yeah... I'd get it replaced even if an air can does clean it. Whatever happened before might happen again and leave you without light.

Olight has offered to repair or replace it. Nice customer service. Hopefully they keep the old body intact, it took months to get my "patina"
