Hello,
I am looking a for a compact flashlight that has very nice combination of throw and flood. I lean towards throw, but I don't want a shaft of light, as I find little use for that for my needs. I've come to like the Olight M20 Premium, as it has the size I want, the output look nice too. How would the M20's beam compare to the new DBS with the MC-E, the one tested at 500 lumens? I imagine it's floodier with the same brightness in the patch that the two flashlights have in common. Please correct me if I am wrong. If the DBS has significantly more throw than the M20, I would consider it, but because the battery life seems to be shorter for the DBS, (in its smaller configuration) than the M20, than I'd have to see significantly more throw out of the DBS to consider it.
Thanks for your time and replies.
